Bodywerx offers massage for athletic men in a private, discreet and
professional environment.
A typical client wants to
reduce pain and aches from work-outs or training. At Bodywerx, we cater to dancers,
Body Builders, gym-rats and athletes or others who prefer a medium to heavy
touch massage. The typical session is 60-minutes,
however, 30 and 90 minute sessions are also available.
ISOLATED PAINS
Got a Pain-in-the-neck?? Try our 30 Minute session for a massage that is totally about the neck,
shoulders and back! If you have a special request, let us know and we will try to accommodate you.
Got a Pain-in-the-ass??
Well maybe in the general area! Try our 30 Minute session for a massage that is totally about the
hip flexors, lower back, upper thighs, hamstrings and IT Bands. A
favorite among dancers, runners and bikers. Again, if you have a special request, let us know and we will try to accommodate you.
SPORTS
MASSAGE:
Great for after a hard workout or a rough day, Sports Massage will focus on
the large muscle areas of the back, thighs, gluts etc.. Sports style is a heavier touch that
falls between Swedish and a Deep Tissue. Depth of the touch can, of course, vary as
needed.
Sports massage includes stretching with long stroking motions. GREAT for
detoxification of stressed muscles! Specific problem areas are addressed.
A five minute Aromatherapy session is available at the end of the
massage.
DEEP TISSUE:
A deep touch - typically for body builders, dancers
or competitive athletes. Heavy emphasis on specific muscle groups and areas: lats, traps,
gluts etc.. Specific problem areas are addressed. A five minute
Aromatherapy session is available at the end of the massage.
(This style is a favorite
of the dancers!)
4-HANDS MASSAGE:
All of the above are available with "4-Hands". What's that? Just what you might
think! 4 hands! Two therapists at the same time provide an incomparable
massage experience! Availability usually requires a minimum 24 hour advance appointment.
A GREAT gift for a friend or when you REALLY want
to pamper yourself. Twice the attention to those tired, achy muscles. A strange sensation
at first, but we promise, it WILL grow on you!
(NOTE: This session is 45 minutes NOT 60 minutes)

Our massage therapists
are trained
professionals who are independent contractors and offer combined massage
experience in excess of 45 years! We provide the highest quality
service at a competitive rate. We cater to your particular needs and
customize each session to accommodate your particular body issues.
While some clients request a sensual component to the massage session, we
are happy to accommodate, however, we do not offer sex to our clients.
ARE YOU A MASSAGE THERAPIST?
We make referrals to massage therapists who are outside of our immediate
service area. if you are a massage therapist and are looking for
client referrals, please contact us for a meeting and we can set up a
referral agreement! We are also open to service trades with other
qualified therapists! Call to discuss!
SESSION CONTENT:
Massage is done in warm, quiet room on a custom built table with adjustable head cradle
and soft music in the background.
We use Biotone and Free-Up - the highest quality
professional massage products available - during all sessions.

Travel to the suburbs including O'Hare will incur a travel fee.
